WIPER SEALS
The Rod wiper for alternative linear movements is indispensable to give first class protection to the oil seals and the guiding tools in hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
The main function of the wiper seal is to guarantee the cleaning of the rod from any possible external impurity. The FP wiper seals show a chamfer on the outside diameter to facilitate its fitting into the housing.
To simplify the installation, the housing should have a chamfer fo 2 x 15 – 20°.
These products are made out of NBR and FKM compounds, resistant to mineral oils, greases, aqueous solutions ecc…, with a hardness of approx. 85 Sh A.
