Evanthia is a sterile, injectable, non-pyrogenic, reabsorbable medical product made out of reticulated hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin, produced via bacterial fermentation. Evanthia is a colourless gel contained in a pre-filled, graduated, disposable, and sterile syringe with a Luer adapter.

MECHANISM OF ACTION
Evanthia’s action consists in increasing the volume of the dermo-epidermal tissue based on the natural ability of the hydrophile molecules of hyaluronic acid to bind to quantities of water that are many times heavier than they are. This allows them to fill the intradermal spaces and fill the intercellular matrix, making the tissues firmer. The reticulation of the hyaluronic acid contained in the product makes the filler effect more stable and lasting over time.

Evanthia must be used as a temporary filler to correct cutaneous defects such as wrinkles

INJECTION TECHNIQUE
Deep bolus or linear retrograde technique according to the area. Serial puncture and nappage techniques must be avoided. After the injection, it is important to massage the treated area to spread the product better.
ESTIMATED DURATION OF THE RESULTS
Up to 10 months
PROTOCOL
1 session (even using several vials, if necessary) every 6-8 months, and then every year. To maximise the filler’s action, we recommend alternating biorevitalising and regenerating treatments all over the face at least a couple of times a year.
